Silas

Biographical Information

  • PACK: AMBASSADOR
  • LOCATION: WOLF CONSERVATION CENTER (WCC)

  • I live with my "adoptive" brother, Nikai.
  • I was born on April 21, 2023.
  • I joined the WCC family in May, 2023.
  • I am bold and playful.
  • I was socialized with humans for the first three months of my life.
  • Socialization with humans is most important to become an Ambassador.
  • I am forward facing. I am not shy and very interested in seeing visitors!
  • As an Ambassador, I help the understanding of the importance and history of wolves.
  • Nikai and I can be viewed on our webcam at www.NYWolf.org.

Did you know?

Gray wolves have 2 coats: an undercoat to keep them warm and guard hairs to protect them from wind, rain and snow. Gray wolves get their name from their undercoat, which is always gray, regardless of the color(s) of their guard hairs.
